The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Higher Education and Training, Tebego Letsie, says committee members are impressed by the R1 billion infrastructure repair work carried out at the University of Venda in Thohoyandou in Limpopo.
Committee members inspected new streets, residences and the new Science and Health buildings.
Letsie says they are happy with the state of affairs on campus.
“We are impressed with the resuscitation of infrastructure projects that have been abandoned before I was indicating to the Vice Chancellor that I was here in 2023 where we had a number of projects that were on going. All of them are done now. I think you saw the health science building, state of the art.”
