Some learners at the Maseala Progressive Secondary School in Seshego outside Polokwane in Limpopo, are optimistic that they have performed well.
Over 17 000 candidates sat for the Independent Examination Board-administered exams in the province last year.
The school has been consistently achieving good results, with a 100% pass rate in the past year. Learners Lesedi Semenya and Tebatso Legodi say they are positive they will achieve excellent results…
“I feel confident, I trust in the Lord and the Bible reads that whatever it is that you sow you shall reap and we sowed hard work throughout the whole year and I believe that I shall reap good results so with that being said, thank you,” says one learner.
“Personally, my plans for this year are hopefully to begin with my journey of being an advocate and being a lawyer, probably at WITS I hope that since it’s a very demanding institution, I will have plenty of distinctions to satisfy them,” says another learner.
