Brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande are accused of orchestrating AKA and Tibz murders.
The two Ndimande brothers, allegedly linked to the murders of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane in 2023, are to be transferred to the high-security eBongweni Super Max Correctional Facility in Kokstad.
Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande appeared briefly before the Durban Magistrate’s Court via video link from a separate room. The matter has been postponed to the 4th March.
This was their third appearance since their extradition from Eswatini in November.
They face multiple charges, including a murder charge for a separate matter where a taxi boss was killed in Amanzimtoti.
During court proceedings, the defense team, led by Advocate Simphiwe Mlotshwa, informed the court that they cannot effectively take “proper instructions” from their clients without a specific set of documents.
These are the extradition records from the Kingdom of Eswatini, which detail the legal process that brought the brothers back to South African soil last November.
