Paul Mashatile to deliver eulogy at Brian Hlongwa’s funeral

African National Congress (ANC) Deputy President, Paul Mashatile, will on Wednesday morning deliver the eulogy at the funeral service for former Gauteng Health MEC, Brian Hlongwa.

Hlongwa passed away last week after a short illness.

His funeral service will be held at the Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg in Johannesburg.

Hlongwa’s political home, the ANC has described him as a true patriot.

The party’s first deputy Secretary-General Nomvula Mokonyane says, “Indeed, we have lost a member. We’ve lost a person who was a true patriot, loved the people of South Africa, respected the rule of law, and most importantly, believed in what the African National Congress stands for.”
