Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will launch a healthcare strategy in Bloemfontein on Thursday.
The six-month multi-month dispensing healthcare strategy aims to reduce the number of patients’ clinic visits.
Patients will receive a several-month supply of medication on a single visit.
The Health Department says this will reduce the workload of healthcare workers.
