Boland Cavaliers who have already beaten the Cheetahs and the Lions this year, came back stronger in the second half at home to beat the Bulls by 28 points to 20 in Currie Cup.
The visitors were enjoying 12 points lead following their two tries.
That was before the hosts managed to cut down the deficit with a converted try at the stroke of halftime.
At the break, the Bulls were leading by 12 points to seven.
The Cavaliers came back stronger and scored three tries, claiming yet another victory in this year’s Currie Cup competition.
The Cheetahs and Lions were victorious in tough, fourth-round Currie Cup clashes on Saturday.
The Free State side ran in five tries to three to beat Western Province 31-24 in Bloemfontein. This was the Cape side’s fourth successive defeat in the competition, while the Cheetahs now have three wins from four matches.
The Lions, meanwhile, narrowly defeated the Pumas 36-35 in Mbombela. This was also the Johannesburg side’s third victory, while the Pumas have now won two, and lost two.
