Heavy traffic on a freeway
Limpopo traffic authorities have advised motorists to be vigilant as high traffic volumes are expected on many major routes throughout today.
This as many people make their way back home from various destinations as the Easter long weekend draws to an end.
Provincial traffic spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene says law enforcement officers have been deployed to strategic spots on all busy roads.
Chuene says motorists should plan their trip, check traffic updates frequently and allow extra time to account for unexpected delays.
“Law enforcement officers remain strategically deployed to manage traffic flow and curb violations, ensuring a safer journey for all road users. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your travels,” says Chuene.
