A 40-year-old foreign national has been arrested in Bloemfontein in the Free State following the discovery of drugs and equipment with an estimated street value of over R100,000.
During a routine patrol in the CBD, police stopped and searched the suspect’s car.
Officers transported the suspect to Park Road Police Station for a more thorough search where they discovered five plastic bags containing crystal meth in his possession.
The suspect led the police to his flat where Mandrax tablets, Crystal Meth and two digital scales were found.
The suspect is set to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court soon.
