A man has been shot and killed at Westridge in Mitchell’s Plain on the Cape Flats.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the 37-year-old’s body was found on an open field next to a primary school.
Twigg says the motive for the attack is yet to be determined.
He says no arrests have been made.
Police members were called to the crime scene where they found the victim with gunshot wounds to his body.
The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
