[FILE IMAGE]: Drugs seized from criminals by SAPS members.
A 34-year-old foreign national has been arrested in Vredendal in the Western Cape for the possession of drugs worth about R500,000.
Police Spokesperson, Joseph Swartbooi, says they executed a search warrant at a premise in Mangaung.
“Driven by adrenaline, they took time ensure that they do not miss anything which might seem to be irrelevant. One of the members noticed a bag behind the fridge, which drew his attention. They opened the bag in the presence of the home owner and recovered a quantity of methamphetamine,” says Swartbooi.
He says the suspects will appear in court soon.
