The scene of the bus accident.
The Limpopo Government says 34 of the 43 people killed in a bush crash on the N1 near Louis Trichard have been identified by their families.
It is believed the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle while driving in the Tshambudzi valley on Sunday evening.
The bus, carrying 91 passengers, was travelling from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape to Zimbabwe and Malawi.
Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba says they have compiled a photo album to assist bereaved families with identifying the bodies of their loved ones.
“Up to so far 34 human remains have now been identified. The nine that is remaining, the challenge we have is that the family members have indicated that some of them did not have the documentation to come to the country. So, we are going to meet each other halfway, taking that album to the border gate where both the authorities of Limpopo and Zimbabwe will have to look with those families.”
