Head of IDAC Advocate Andrea Johnson
The Advisory Panel tasked with interviewing six candidates vying for the top job of NPA head has revealed that it received 281 public comments on the candidates.
Of those 281 comments, 209 were solely dedicated to one of the candidates, current IDAC (Investigating Directorate) Head, Advocate Andrea Johnson.
Of the 209 dedicated to Johnson, only one was in support of her candidacy, meaning that 208 objected to her candidacy.
One of those objections came from the former Eskom boss, Matshela Koko.

The panel continues with interviews on Thursday, where three more candidates will be interviewed. The list includes the former NDPP head, Adv. Menzi Simelane, who previously had his appointment invalidated by the Constitutional Court.
